College and Career

In our knowledge-based, global economy, earning a degree beyond high school has become a vital element of opportunity. While the majority of high school students in today’s society aspire to attend college, a drastic improvement in college readiness and completion rates is necessary to prepare the next generation for the economic and civic challenges they will face. An education system that prioritizes college and career readiness from birth to adulthood and aids students through transition phases prepares students for the future. Collaboration between early education, K-12, and postsecondary stakeholders is crucial as well; our students’ success is at stake.
